In overtime, both teams had attempts at the cage. The first quarter was close with Christian Brothers Academy up 2-1, but the Barons responded before the half with four goals and took the halftime breat up 5-3. Five goals from the Brothers in the third quarter tied the game at 8-8 to start the last quarter. Both teams scored three in the final tweleve minutes. With around three minutes left in the game and Brighton up 11-8, the Brothers surged, tying the game with 0:11. Six different Barons made the offensive book led by Casey McDermott (2g-5a) and Stanat (3g-2a). Leading the Brothers were Colin Kelly (2g-3a), Preston Taylor (3g-1a) and Ryan Mackenzie (1g-3a).
